My new video :)

I just finished my seventh video, its about RiverClan. Click here to watch it, it's on youtube. So far, I have done a video on each clan (including SkyClan), one on Dovepaw, and another about Bluestar. I am currently working on one for StarClan and one about the book Night Whispers. I have my video widget at the bottom right of the blog. Thanks!

Thursday, December 2, 2010

Happy  December everyone! This is (once again) about Night Whispers. You might be wondering, "When is she going to move on?!" But books in the actual series (Omen of the Stars) only come out a couple times a year.

***SPOILER ALERT*** TO ANYONE WHO DIDNT READ/FINISH NIGHT WHISPERS, DO NOT READ ON!!

Unlike the rumors told, important cats died. Brambleclaw didnt die. (Thank goodness.) Sandstorm didnt die. Firestar didnt lose another life. BUT, the focal point changed to a ShadowClan cat, Flametail, a medicine cat apprentice. I thought it was very interesting to see what the ShadowClan cats thought of ThunderClan, and it sort of shows that they are not horrible and evil, they just take every opportunity to learn more about battle, and they are very proud. I wonder what will happen in The Sign of the Moon, since Flametail died. What I thought was confusing about Flametail's death was that he saw Jayfeather. At the beginning of the chapter, it said that Flametail saw the ThunderClan cats playing on the ice as well, but were they so close to each other that a blind cat could break through the ice, hold his breath and endure the cold to swim over to Flametail and then have to swim back? (Long sentence, sorry.) But really, that part was a bit odd, although Flametail's death was very sad, since he is one of the few cats in the book that seemed to partly understand something about the Dark Forest and he was just smart in general. Now what cat will take his place? Littlecloud is barely alive. What if one of the other clans sent over their medicine cat apprentice to live at ShadowClan if Littlecloud died?

Night Whispers Part 2

The title Night Whispers is actually related to the story for two reasons:

  1. Dovepaw is visiting Tigerheart at night in secret
  2. Ivypaw is visiting the Dark Forest at night and training
About the Dark Forest...
  • The main evil cats that are training others are: Tigerstar, Darkstripe, Hawlkfrost, and Mapleshade
  • More about Mapleshade: she is very old, and has almost disappeared. She almost killed Ivypaw suffocating her underwater.
  • Tigerheart, Ivypaw, Breezepelt, and cats from the other clans are training at the Dark Forest/Place of No Stars
  • The Dark Forest has actually been in the Warrior Cats series since Starlight, book 4 in The New Prophecy
Forbidden Love...
  • Im so happy Erin ended the Tigerheart & Dovepaw thing, because there has been meeting cats in other clans in secret for a very looong time.
  • Lionblaze wanted to mate with Cinderheart, but after he told her about the prophecy, she didnt think she was good enough for him, which made me sad.

Night Whispers Part 1

***SPOILER ALERT!*** IF YOU HAVENT READ NIGHT WHISPERS YET, THIS WILL SPOIL THE STORY!!!

The book starts the day the battle ends with ShadowClan, so unlike the other books, no time has gone by between Fading Echoes and Night Whispers.

When I started this book, I figured not much would happen, and that in the next book, Sign of the Moon, the battle would occur between the clans and the Dark Forest. Well, I was wrong. For the first time in the Warrior Cats series, part of this book was told by Flametail, ShadowClan's medicine cat, starting in chapter 6. The sad part is that, Flametail dies in this book, suffocating in the lake after he fell through the ice in Leaf bare, playing a game with his clan mates. Littlecloud is becoming old, and he had a bad case of whitecough, which means that if he dies, ShadowClan will have no one to replace him.

Here is the summary of Night Whispers:

  • Ivypaw is being trained in the Dark Forest, and Dovepaw is trying to stop her.
  • Ivypaw learns about Dovepaw's secret, and decides to spy on the cats of the Dark Forest for Dovepaw, Lionblaze, and Jayfeather.
  • Lionblaze tells Cinderheart about his power, and she cant handle it, and she doesnt want to be his mate anymore
  • Flametail dies...(it was so unexpected & sad!!)
  • Each medicine cat is told to tell their clans that they must face the Dark Forest alone, and the other Clans cannot help them.
  • Jayfeather is told that ThunderClan is destined to survive, because the 3 of the prophecy are in TC.
  • Dovepaw is visitng Tigerheart at night, but realizes he is using her to get herbs

Excerpts

Crookedstar's Promise:

Blurb: "An ominous prophecy has foretold that Crookedstar, leader of RiverClan, will be utterly betrayed by those closest to him. Crookedstar is forced to watch, helpless, as the words of the prophecy begin to be fulfilled—and as the delicate balance between the four warrior Clans is threatened in ways no cat could have imagined."

SkyClan & The Stranger:

Vicky Holmes said this on her Wands & Worlds chat: "I'm working on a Skyclan manga trilogy at the moment and we learn how Sol first came to to know the Clans... So much fun!"

Blurb:  "The Rescue is the thrilling beginning of the SkyClan and the Stranger manga trilogy. The newly re-formed SkyClan is thriving under Leafstar’s leadership—but strangers are lurking near SkyClan’s territory, and Leafstar realizes that her young Clan may be in serious danger."

Both of these are released July 5, 2011!!

Mapleshade

Who is Mapleshade? Apparently, she is introduced in Night Whispers and is the new villain, as well as the FIRST evil she-cat!

I just realized, there has never really been an evil she-cat. NO, Bluestar was not evil, she was just angry and depressed. And Hollyleaf wasn't really evil, just crazy.

Victoria Holmes: Meredith, your wish for a purely evil she-cat will come true in OTS3 NightWhispers. Behold...MAPLESHADE! - Victoria Holmes' Facebook Page

According to Vicky, Mapleshade is a very large white tortoiseshell with amber eyes. She is ambitious, cold, and craves revenge. More will be revealed by Mapleshade in Crookedstar's Promise. She is also said to be a member of The Place of No Stars. This means that she is dead in Night Whispers, but probably alive in Crookedstar's Promise.

Confirmations

  • It has been confirmed that Flametail will be one of the point of views in Night Whispers, and that he is also the cat on the cover. It was confirmed on Vicky Holmes facebook page.
"Hey! I heard Flametail was going to be one of the POVs in Night Whispers, is that true? and if it is, please tell me Ivypaw will be a POV too!
Vicky Holmes: Yes, Flametail and Ivypaw will be povs. - Victoria Holmes' Facebook Page

I was wondering if it is true that Flametail will appear on the cover of NightWhispers.

Victoria Holmes: Hi Sky W. Yes, Flametail will be on the cover of Night Whispers. - Victoria Holmes' Facebook Page

  • In Sign of the Moon, there will be new kits! This was confirmed by Vicky Holmes in a Wands and Worlds Chat.
Wll we see any new kits in Night Whispers, or maybe Sign of the Moon, I love when new kits are introduced-maybe Mousewhisker will become a father?
VickyHolmes: There are new kits in Sign of the Moon! But not Mousewhisker's, I'm afraid. - Wands&Worlds Chat 7

Wayne McLoughlin

You might be asking, "who is this, and what does he have to do with Warriors?" Well, McLoughlin is the illustrator for the Warrior Cats books and field guides as well as the Seekers series. Ironically, he is also a hunter. His official web page can be found here. These are a few more of his drawings:

Dawn

As we all know, there have been many parts in the Warrior Cats series. Those were the Original Series, The New Prophecy, Power of Three, and Omen of the Stars. In the fifth series, Victoria Holmes stated"We’re going back in time to the dawn of the forest Clans….

Perhaps this means all the way back to when the clans were formed by Thunder, Wind, Shadow, River, and (I guess?) Sky. According to dictionary.com, dawn means "to begin to open or develop." So that will most likely happen, or they could start when LionClan and LeopardClan still lived in the forest. Either way, the story will be returning to the Old Forest, which I'm so excited about, because I was so sad when the twolegs destroyed it...

"Why did you tell her?" Jayfeather demanded, glaring at Dovepaw.
"I-I..." Dovepaw stammered, shuffling her paws in the dirt. "I just didn't want my sister to hate me!"
"Well, you could have at least asked us first," Lionblaze looked just as angry as he glared down at the cowering apprentice.
"Well, I'm sorry, but if you were hiding a secret from your best friend, and it tore you two apart, I bet you wouldn't hesitate to tell them!" Dovepaw snorted, standing up to her mentor with unconcealed dignity.

"Dovepaw, she said that she was part of this prophecy and-"
"Silence!" Hawkfrost cut her off with a snarl. "I can't believe you would make up such nonsense! I though I'd expect better of you since you're my apprentice, but I guessed wrong." Hawkfrost turned around and padded away, sneering and looking back one last time before he vanished into the shadowy forest.
"Hawkfrost, wait!" Ivypaw ran after him. "I promise I'll be better, please!"

This is an excerpt from Night Whispers, and from this, you can tell that Dovepaw tells Ivypaw about the prophecy, and she believes her! Maybe Ivypaw will turn out good...alot of rumors say she will be evil. Only time will tell!

HACKED

Kate Cary's blog has been hacked. :( When I visited her blog, a white screen appeared, and it said her site was down, and she was trying to fix it because someone hacked it. Who would do something like that?? I hope she fixes it...

My newest Upload

I just finished my ThunderClan movie, its short, only about one minute long, but still, pretty good. Check it out here! Thanks!

Updates

"Crookedstar's Secret is the 4th volume in the Super Edition Series. Crookedstar's Secret will feature Crookedstar, and why he allowed all the forbidden love between ThunderClan and RiverClan.
-Kate Cary's blog

Night Whispers-the Cat on the cover is supposed to be Flametail, and yes, part of the story will be told from the point of view of him as well!

I know this is old, but new things can still be discovered from this description...

"The deadly battle between ThunderClan and ShadowClan is finally over. Now the three cats who are prophesied to hold the power of the stars in their paws—Jayfeather, Lionblaze, and Dovepaw—are more determined than ever to stop the flow of evil into ThunderClan. But they will soon discover that this evil comes from places even StarClan can’t reach."

One last spoiler....featuring Sign of the Moon. The book is supposed to be centered around the Tribe of Rushing Water, and a few rumors have said that there will be parts that are told from the Tribe's point of view. Only time will tell....

Erin Hunter Chat

The Erin Hunters were online in a chat on August 8th, and the transcript is online!

Part I

Part II

Here are some of the best questions:

Clearfur(Q): To Vicky: Will Cinderheart ever realize her true identity? And will she end up together with Lionblaze?
VickyHolmes(A): Hmmm, can I give this much away? I think I can safely reveal that yes, Cinderheart will discover her former identity. And that’s all, folks!

insaneular(Q): Will there ever be a possibility of Leafpool taking another mate, now that she's not a medicine cat?
-maybe she would start meeting Crowfeather again?-

Rockstar(Q): Will we ever see a drawing of SkyClan terriotry?
VickyHolmes(A): There are maps for SkyClan in Firestar's Quest and SkyClan's Destiny, plus you'll see the manga version in the trilogy next year.

Daisypaw(Q): All: A fifth series?? Are any of you worried that that might be dragging it out too long, to the point where you'll completely run out of good ideas halfway through?
VickyHolmes(A): Oh, I think we have enough ideas for AT LEAST another six books!

Just Stuffs!

I find this interesting, its just a bunch of mistakes...for example, in the first warrior cat book, Into the Wild, on the last paragraph of page 44, Bluestar is called Blusetar! Click here for more mistakes.

I was laughing when I read these, because I find I do some of them...25 Ways you Know you have read to much Warrior Cats!

Just a few cool things.

Warrior Cats movie 2011-2012

"The rights to a Warriors movie has been claimed by New Line Cinema, although it had not been revealed who the director is.
The cats will be CGI with very realistic fur and environments. The movie has not yet started production although will hit theaters around 2011. There are rumors that Zac Efron will be voicing Graystripe,Elijah Wood will be voicing Firestar,Liam Neeson (voice of Aslan in Narnia) will be voicing Lionheart. And the voice of Bluestar is Rhianna."

I doubt those will be the actors, since obviously there is no director yet, but there has been some talk about a warrior cat movie coming out eaither in 2011, 2012, or 2013. Victoria Holmes (one of the three WC writers under the pen name Erin Hunter.) did say in one of her chats that a Warrior Cats movie was beginning to be planeed, but nothing has been set in stone yet...

What is this?

I just found this randomly. I dont know if its real, but it sure looks like it is. This was the actual size. It looks like it is the Sign of the Moon because the title line is so long. That is as big as I can make it without it getting fuzzy. Yup. Definitely sign of the moon!!! Another mystery...but it looks really cool, and kinda freaky.

Sign of the Moon

Using my extra-awesome looking skills, I found the 5th book in the Omen of the Stars series! It is called Sign of the Moon (most of the WC titles are really good, this one included.) and it will be coming out April 5 2011. There is no cover yet, that will probably come out some time in January. There is also no summary yet, so with there being no information, the release date could change, but it wouldn't be a huge change, just a few days forward or backward. It's happened before.

SkyClan's Destiny Cover

Here is the cover of SkyClan's Destiny without the book jacket. It's a little blurry, but I think the artwork on the super editions is amazing, because it covers the front and back of the book, and is so detailed.

SkyClan's Destiny Part 1

I finished SkyClan's Destiny, and I really enjoyed it. It was interesting to see how you got to know the cats, although they were just introduced, and it still amazes me how fast I can catch onto the names, it might seem confusing, but after you get into the story, it all makes sense, just like normal names like Mike or Sally. Anyway, SkyClan's Destiny was told from the point of the clan leader, Leafstar. The story is pretty much just about clan life, and how a bunch of rouge cats can come together to re-create their ancestors' life style as a clan, and how they overcome problems that any group would have, since they used to be living by themselves and not having to worry about others.

Gone-without a book

So the Warrior Cat books will be coming out while I'm away...maybe I can get them while I am gone, so I can read them, then come back and blog about them, and I am sure many summaries, theories, and who knows what else will be coming out of this. So for today instead, I have decided to write a short story...enjoy....
***

Bluestar sat on the soft, mossy rock, and peered down into the pool below her, craning her neck to find a better view. "What is that young cat's name, right there with the gray pelt and green eyes?" She hissed. Leopardstar sat next to her, peacefully grooming her fur. "Relax, Bluestar. I have never seen you so intent on any cat, other then Firestar, of course." She chuckled, then stood near the old ThunderClan leader. "That is Dovepaw, I remember seeing her at the gathering." Leopardstar's eyes clouded over as she recalled one of her last meetings. "It was during the drought. When cats from each clan set off to release the water. When Rippletail joined StarClan." Bluestar turned to face Leopardstar. "He died bravely, you know. Each good cat will go to StarClan, as we did." Leopardstar then gazed into the pool. "But it was not his time." She murmered. "He still had his warrior life ahead of him." Bluestar gave the RiverClan leader a comforting lick. "He died a warrior, and that is the greatest honor."

Both leaders turned back to the pool to watch Dovepaw. "You have heard the prophecy, haven't you?" Bluestar asked Leopardstar. The leader nodded. "After the sharp-eyed jay and roaring lion, peace will come on dove's gentle wing." Bluestar sighed. "She has so much to live up to, at such a young age. She will need great strength for all of the clans to survive." Then, another cat energed from the ferns surrounding the small pool. "She will survive, she is strong, as you were, Bluestar." Whitestorm's husk voice echoed around the small clearing. "I hope so." Leopardstar replied. "She better be as strong as you say she is, othewise the Dark Forest will rule not only StarClan, but the living as well."

Peak-see

SkyClan's Destiny can be accessed here. I'm not sure why they are showing it, since it has not been released yet, I am pretty sure I would have known, but hey, I've been wrong in the past. Heart of a Warrior cannot be accessed although it is released the same day. Who knows why.

Mist in the Distance...

Mistystar is the most recent leader of RiverClan, and before she became leader, she was known as Mistyfoot. She has been in the Warrior Cat novels since the first series. She was alive when Oakheart, Bluestar's mate, was alive, he had brought them to RiverClan where they would be raised. She has been Leopardstar's deputy since Leopardstar became leader, which was also in the first series of Warrior Cats. Once Leopardstar began to lose judgement due to her sickness, Mistystar (Mistyfoot at the time) stepped in and-pretty much-lead the clan. She will probably be my favorite clan leader, which is saying alot because Bluestar and Tallstar were really awesome. Time will tell...

SkyClan Arrives

SkyClan was driven from the forest by the other clans, and now Firestar and Sandstorm have recreated it, and this is the follow up novel telling what happens to the clan.

"Leafstar is struggling to rebuild SkyClan in a territory far from the other warrior Clans, but new and unexpected threats continue to plague her Clanmates. As dissent grows from within, Leafstar must face the one question she dreads: Is SkyClan meant to survive?" -review from SFBookcase

I'm not exactly sure what will happen in this book, but I know it is during the current time period. I don't think it involves any cat in any of the other clans, it is focused just on SkyClan, which I think is a great idea, since everything has been about ThunderClan...

Clans Extend!

I was reading Kate Cary's blog, she is one of the authors of the Warrior Cat series, and she had a special announcement....

Apparently the Super Edition for next year will be about Crookedstar, one of the past ShadowClan leaders. This is big news, because there has never been a book about a cat outside of ThunderClan, who knows what will come from this? More info will be coming soon, I have so much work to do!

France Search

Since I got to France, it has been my goal to find a Warrior Cats book, but so far I have had no luck. I know there is one since I went on the French Amazon.com and the books were there but....I guess I just have to keep looking. Will get back to you on that one.

The next books come out in August, and those are this year's Super Edition as well as the conclusion to Ravenpaw's Path. Then, Night Whispers will be released in November, a busy year!

ShadowClan Excerpt

OK, so lately I have taken an interest in ShadowClan, who knows why, but they had always been my least favorite clan. Now my least favorite is...WindClan. Anyway, this is a story I have written about ShadowClan after a battle that took place in The Power of Three.

*****
"ShadowClan, gather!" Blackstar, leader of ShadowClan looked around at his clan. They had just returned from a battle in ThunderClan territory, with neither a win or loss. The cats below him padded around restlessly, waiting to see what he would say about the disappearance of the sun. "As we all know, the sun disappeared in the battle today. We can only take this as one sign, and that is that we must destroy ThunderClan, for no helpless clan should like here at the lake." Littlecloud, the ShadowClan medicine cat, stood up in the sea of cats around him. "I have not spoken to StarClan directly, but I believe that the sun disappearing was not a sign from our ancestors." Blackstar narrowed his eyes, and hissed, "Littlecloud, why do you address the clan before coming to me first?" All heads turned toward back to the medicine cat, who held gaze with his leader. "We only just returned, and I felt the clan should know. I can talk to you when this meeting is over if you would like." With that, he dipped his head and trotted back to the medicine cat den. Blackstar lashed his tail, giving one yowl to his clan, "ShadowClan will prevail!" The cats below him echoed his cry, then returned to camp life, creating border and hunting patrols as well as training apprentices and looking after wounds.

Russetfur, ShadowClan's deputy was the only cat still sitting below the tree from where Blackstar had addressed the clan. "The sun dissapearing must mean something, Blackstar." The she-cat warned him. "A change is coming, and ShadowClan must be ready for it." Blackstar padded past his deputy. "ShadowClan is strong, we can handle anything."

May 29

Just returned from Boston, and in a couple of hours I have read 150 pages of my book, I am destined to be a fast reader. I love this photo, so I wanted to share it with everyone!

5 for 1

With the start of a new month in a few weeks comes a new warrior cats field guide! Battle of the Clans will be released June 1st 2010.

Here are some things that will be included in this book:

An inside look at each Clan's fighting secrets:
  • ShadowClan's night ambush technique
  • ThunderClan's surprise Lightning Strike tactic
  • WindClan's secret underground tunneling
  • RiverClan's water maneuvers
  • SkyClan's fearsome "skydrop" move
On the cover is Blackstar, the leader of ShadowClan, and his deputy, Russetfur, is to his right and Tawnypelt is on his left. This will be another interesting book, because like Code of the Clans there are views from each clan, unlike the series books which focus mainly on ThunderClan.

Expanding the Horizons

I have made a bunch of warrior cats videos, and I would post them on the blog, but apparently you can only use so much video space on one blog for a bunch of reasons I wont get into right now. So, instead I have made a few videos and have posted them on YouTube. The links are posted below if you want to see them, I think they are prettyyyy cool. Enjoy, and thanks for watching!

Tribe of Rushing Water

The Tribe of Rushing Water is similar to the clans of the warrior cats that live in the forest, but these cats live in the mountains, and there is only one tribe and they have no rivals. Their camp is in a large cave behind a waterfall, and they have similar ancestors as the warrior cats, but instead of StarClan, they are the Tribe of Endless Hunting.

This tribe was first introduced into the series in the New Prophecy series when the clans were journeying to their new home. The tribe is led by a cat called Stoneteller, and he works as both leader and medicine cat of the tribe, interpreting signs from their ancestors as well as helping injured cats. Tribe cats are separated into two main groups, Cave Guard or Hunter. This is decided at birth, and if the kit looks large and strong, it will be a guard. But if it looks thin and fast, it will be a Hunter. A Cave Guard protects the cave from any large birds or mountain cats while a Hunter catches prey for the tribe. The Clan and Tribe cats have helped each other many times, and they have been in about five of the Warrior Cats books.

Sign of the Wiki!

Erin Hunter is currently writing the fourth novel in the Omen of the Stars series. (This one comes out after Night Whispers, which comes out November 23 2010.) This means the fourth book, called The Sign of the Moon, will be released around January or February of 2011. The book title might be changed since there is so much time from now to the release date, and I found it on Wikipedia, so that just adds to the fact that it might not be true. It says that the title was released on Victoria Holmes's Facebook page. (She is one of the people under Erin Hunter) Also, it says that the book will revolve around the Tribe of Rushing Water.

Flametail Speaks

Summary "Jayfeather and Lionblaze are convinced that the deadly battle between ThunderClan and ShadowClan should not have happened, and they are more determined to uncover the real reason that StarClan led them astray. Meanwhile, Dovepaw must face a startling fact and realizes that evil is sometimes no more than a whispers length away. As tensions between the four Clans grow, one cat will make a stand for what is right- but at what price?" From WarriorsWiki

Finally, I found the cover! The cat on this cover was originally going to be on the last book, the picture was even put on Amazon.com but then it was changed.

The cat on the cover is supposed to be Flametail, ShadowClan's medicine cat apprenticed to Littlecloud. It says on the site I found this photo, that in this book the point of view will sometimes be told from Flametail's point of view. It was told before that there would be a new cat point of view, but now we know!

New and then Some

Along with SkyClan's Destiny, the next book in the cartoon series Ravenpaw's Path, The Heart of a Warrior will be released in stores August 3rd, 2010. The cover has recently been released. (The picture is humungo because blogger is being dumb right now.) This is when Ravenpaw returns to his clan, ThunderClan, to help drive an evil force (BloodClan) out of the forest.

Overall Rundown

I have just finished Fading Echoes, the 2nd book in the Omen of the Stars series in not so record time. (yea 3 days is long for me) Anyway, I enjoyed this book much more then the first book in the Omen of the Stars series, because the characters change more, and there is a lot more story.

RiverClan-Leopardstar, RiverClan's leader, lost her last life, so the clan's deputy, Mistyfoot visited StarClan to recieve her 9 lives and new name, Mistystar.

WindClan-Not much happened with WindClan in this book, but evil cats are coming from the dark forest and training Breezepelt, a WindClan warrior.

ShadowClan-Their scents are being found in ThunderClan territory, but only because Tigerheart, a ShadowClan warrior, is crossing the border for a currently unknown reason.

ThunderClan-Longtail, a cat that has been in this series since book 1, Into the Wild, died. Firestar led an attack (wow, that's a first) on ShadowClan to gain the territory that he once gave away to them. This is really odd because Firestar NEVER attacks, and this is a strange thing for him to go for.

...Surprise?

I'm in the middle of reading the 2nd book in the Omen of the Stars series, Fading Echoes. When I picked up this book, the first thing I noticed was that the cover of the 3rd book in the series, Night Whispers, was on the back of this book. This was surprising to me because every time I have checked amazon.com or any other book carrying company or just about anything, there has been a description on the book, but no available picture. I just checked Google, and there is still no available picture, which really surprises me, since I already have the cover for a book that is being released in August.

The next thing that I noticed, is that the original cover of Fading Echoes was this (above). The main cat in the center of this picture was taken out and replaced with a different cat, a white cat which is supposed to be Dovepaw, one of the main cats in this series. Anyway, the cat on this book was removed, but is now on the cover of Night Whispers.

Head Bobbers

This is a link to a group of kitties that is just so cute! Enjoy!

The Amazon

With only 17 days left until the release of the second book in the Omen of the Stars series: Fading Echoes, Warrior Cat fans everywhere give there reviews and reasons on the book.

Amazon Review "...Soon a mysterious visitor will walk in one cat's dreams, whispering promises of greatness, with results that will change the future of ThunderClan in ways that no cat could have for seen."

Now, me being me, and Erin Hunter being Erin Hunter, we both have very different views on what could happen, hers are either extremely obvious or completely unexpected, while my ideas come from what I have read and it builds up to my answer, which really is the only thing I could do as the reader.

The cat that visits another in their dreams is obviously an evil cat from the Dark Forest (I know, creative name right?), which is where evil cats go after they die instead of traveling to StarClan. My possible cats: Tigerstar-I am sooo done with him, need a new bad guy. Hollyleaf-Not evil, but still possible. Hawlkfrost-Again, we need new generation evil cats.

The one that is visited is a ThunderClan cat, and that could either be:

Dovepaw-she is one of the 3 that are more powerful then StarClan, an obvious stalking choice. Ivypaw-Dovepaw's sister, never receiving as much attention as her sister, so she would be a good choice. Poppyfrost & Berrynose's kits-Hawlkfrost and Tigerstar were watching their birth, they wanted to train them to fight with the Dark Forest, but then again, they are just kits.

My Story

Sorry, there has not been any of my stories on here lately. That's because I am writing my own Warrior Cats story in Microsoft Word, and I have currently written 46 pages, so you can see why I am warrior catted storied outed. Haha. But I might try to put my story on the blog, so you can sit here and read it and think, "wow Sara really has lost it this time with all these names and everything." I don't disagree, but its a good story.

Breakout

I was just looking around on the web, and I went on wikipedia, and I found this in the Warrior Cats area. OK, I know you cant trust wiki with everything, but this isn't life or death, it will be fine if this is not true.

It said that in the 3rd book in the new series, Omen of the Stars, Night Whispers, that on Kate Cary's blog (Kate Cary works under the name of Erin Hunter along with 3 other people) it read that in the Night Whispers book (which I think is still being written) there will be a point of view from a cat in another clan! Now, in all the past...20 books, there has only been a single focus-ThunderClan.

I think that either it will be some important cat in the story that's in another clan (obviously) OR it could be a main character that lived in ThunderClan that now lives in another clan, or the one that makes little sense, which is Hollyleaf wanderin' around in the smelly tunnels. Pick and choose what you want.

Spots

This is an old story written by Erin Hunter, around last summer I think, about Spottedleaf. It is very short, just some paragraphs, but it explains a lot. It is here if you want to read it. Spottedleaf was ThunderClan's medicine cat when Firestar (Firepaw then) came to live with the clans. It turns out she is Tigerstar's sister, both decendants of SkyClan, but all of that will be in some later post. Spottedleaf always liked Firestar, but when she was killed, she watched him grow and become ThunderClan's leader with Sandstorm at his side. That is the reason she would always come to Leafpool in dreams, even though Leafpool never knew Spottedleaf. Spottedleaf wants to be with Leafpool, and she thinks of her as her own daughter.

Holly Leaf Down

As we know, (well I HOPE you know!) Hollyleaf, Lionblaze and Jayfeather's sister, died in sunrise from running into the ancient tunnels that ran under the clans because her belief in the Warrior Code -that she had built her whole life around- had shattered. Anyway, we would think that Hollyleaf would go to StarClan, since she is a past clan cat, but is she really deserving of that position? She killed Ashfur, her clan mate, because he threatened to reveal that Leafpool was the mother of Hollyleaf, Jayfeather, and Lionblaze, yet Hollyleaf does not deserve a position in the Dark Forest where Tigerstar, Brokenstar, Hawlkfrost, and many other EVIL cats lurk. Hollyleaf wasn't evil or anything, so she really seems to be an oddball.

What I think is that Hollyleaf walks with Fallen Leaves in the tunnels. Now, your probably wondering, Woah, who is Fallen Leaves, what tunnels?! Well, here is some background: Fallen Leaves was part of a past "tribe" of cats that lived near the lake. He traveled into the confusing tunnels under the lake, and he died down there because the underground river flooded, as it does whenever it rains. Fallen Leaves traveled down there because in his "tribe" it was a tradition that if you travel into the tunnels and make it out alive, you will become a Sharpclaw, which means you are no longer a "kit" and can take care of yourself.

ANYWAY, I think that since Hollyleaf died in the tunnels, (or so we think, Erin Hunter has not said yes or no if Hollyleaf is truly dead or not) I think that Hollyleaf should wander around with Fallen Leaves in the tunnels. I haven't found anyone on the Internet that has that theory, and I am rather shocked by that, but as they say, there has to be a first for everything! :)

1 a Month-2 a Year!

Its almost February, which means that Fading Echoes will be coming out in a little more then a month! The Fourth Apprentice and Fading Echoes were released on very close dates, yet books in the main warriors series don't come out to often, usually two per year, but who knows what will happen?

I know, I haven't been putting up many stories lately, but I am actually writing my own warriors story, and I am currently up to page 32, oh yeah, alot of pages! Anyway, in the near future I will make a story on what I think will be happening in Fading Echoes soon.

Why...?

Ok, so this is from our book club, we read the book Viola in Reel Life, which although it has nothing to do with cats, our "project" was to make a movie because the main character of the book filmed her whole life. So this is our....um...movie. Turn the volume down on your computer, this is highly suggested. Haha. I know, I'm terrible :) Enjoy!

SkyClan Books

This is SkyClan's Destiny that comes out in August! I was so happy to find the cover, and yet again, when I found it, I wasnt looking for it. Huh, maybe I just should stop looking for things....haha. Anyway, here it is. Im not sure who the cat on the front is, but I am pretty sure that it is a member of SkyClan, since Firestar was on the front of Firestar's Quest when he went to find SkyClan, so he would not be on the front again. I like the cover! :)

The Storm in ThunderClan

Whitestorm was in the first warrior cat book, Into the Wild. He is a senior, wise warrior that seems to know much about the clan and welcomes Firepaw into ThunderClan. (I think he would have been a great leader.) Whitestorm is actually related to Bluestar, (past ThunderClan leader) who is his aunt. Whitestorm's mother was Snowfur and father was Thistleclaw. His mother died from being hit by a Twoleg (human) monster (car). Snowfur died when Whitestorm was a kit, and he looked toward Bluestar (Bluefur at the time) as a second mother. Bluefur wanted to mentor Whitepaw, because his father, who was very ambitious, was still in his life and taught him things that did not enforce noble warrior behavior. The ThunderClan leader would not let her mentor her nephew, thinking that she would not be hard enough on him, so young Whitepaw was mentored by Patchpelt.

Whitepaw got his warrior name Whitestorm from a scar he had behind his ear that was from when Tigerpaw had viciously attacked him under the guidance of Thistleclaw, Whitepaw's father. Whitestorm was chosen as Firestar's first deputy, and died that next night in a battle against BloodClan, but he knew it was his time to go, and his last words to Firestar were that he would make a good leader and that he should choose Graystripe as his next deputy.
