Tribe of Rushing Water

The Tribe of Rushing Water is similar to the clans of the warrior cats that live in the forest, but these cats live in the mountains, and there is only one tribe and they have no rivals. Their camp is in a large cave behind a waterfall, and they have similar ancestors as the warrior cats, but instead of StarClan, they are the Tribe of Endless Hunting.

This tribe was first introduced into the series in the New Prophecy series when the clans were journeying to their new home. The tribe is led by a cat called Stoneteller, and he works as both leader and medicine cat of the tribe, interpreting signs from their ancestors as well as helping injured cats. Tribe cats are separated into two main groups, Cave Guard or Hunter. This is decided at birth, and if the kit looks large and strong, it will be a guard. But if it looks thin and fast, it will be a Hunter. A Cave Guard protects the cave from any large birds or mountain cats while a Hunter catches prey for the tribe. The Clan and Tribe cats have helped each other many times, and they have been in about five of the Warrior Cats books.

Sign of the Wiki!

Erin Hunter is currently writing the fourth novel in the Omen of the Stars series. (This one comes out after Night Whispers, which comes out November 23 2010.) This means the fourth book, called The Sign of the Moon, will be released around January or February of 2011. The book title might be changed since there is so much time from now to the release date, and I found it on Wikipedia, so that just adds to the fact that it might not be true. It says that the title was released on Victoria Holmes's Facebook page. (She is one of the people under Erin Hunter) Also, it says that the book will revolve around the Tribe of Rushing Water.

Flametail Speaks

Summary "Jayfeather and Lionblaze are convinced that the deadly battle between ThunderClan and ShadowClan should not have happened, and they are more determined to uncover the real reason that StarClan led them astray. Meanwhile, Dovepaw must face a startling fact and realizes that evil is sometimes no more than a whispers length away. As tensions between the four Clans grow, one cat will make a stand for what is right- but at what price?" From WarriorsWiki

Finally, I found the cover! The cat on this cover was originally going to be on the last book, the picture was even put on Amazon.com but then it was changed.

The cat on the cover is supposed to be Flametail, ShadowClan's medicine cat apprenticed to Littlecloud. It says on the site I found this photo, that in this book the point of view will sometimes be told from Flametail's point of view. It was told before that there would be a new cat point of view, but now we know!

New and then Some

Along with SkyClan's Destiny, the next book in the cartoon series Ravenpaw's Path, The Heart of a Warrior will be released in stores August 3rd, 2010. The cover has recently been released. (The picture is humungo because blogger is being dumb right now.) This is when Ravenpaw returns to his clan, ThunderClan, to help drive an evil force (BloodClan) out of the forest.

Overall Rundown

I have just finished Fading Echoes, the 2nd book in the Omen of the Stars series in not so record time. (yea 3 days is long for me) Anyway, I enjoyed this book much more then the first book in the Omen of the Stars series, because the characters change more, and there is a lot more story.

RiverClan-Leopardstar, RiverClan's leader, lost her last life, so the clan's deputy, Mistyfoot visited StarClan to recieve her 9 lives and new name, Mistystar.

WindClan-Not much happened with WindClan in this book, but evil cats are coming from the dark forest and training Breezepelt, a WindClan warrior.

ShadowClan-Their scents are being found in ThunderClan territory, but only because Tigerheart, a ShadowClan warrior, is crossing the border for a currently unknown reason.

ThunderClan-Longtail, a cat that has been in this series since book 1, Into the Wild, died. Firestar led an attack (wow, that's a first) on ShadowClan to gain the territory that he once gave away to them. This is really odd because Firestar NEVER attacks, and this is a strange thing for him to go for.

...Surprise?

I'm in the middle of reading the 2nd book in the Omen of the Stars series, Fading Echoes. When I picked up this book, the first thing I noticed was that the cover of the 3rd book in the series, Night Whispers, was on the back of this book. This was surprising to me because every time I have checked amazon.com or any other book carrying company or just about anything, there has been a description on the book, but no available picture. I just checked Google, and there is still no available picture, which really surprises me, since I already have the cover for a book that is being released in August.

The next thing that I noticed, is that the original cover of Fading Echoes was this (above). The main cat in the center of this picture was taken out and replaced with a different cat, a white cat which is supposed to be Dovepaw, one of the main cats in this series. Anyway, the cat on this book was removed, but is now on the cover of Night Whispers.
