Gone-without a book

So the Warrior Cat books will be coming out while I'm away...maybe I can get them while I am gone, so I can read them, then come back and blog about them, and I am sure many summaries, theories, and who knows what else will be coming out of this. So for today instead, I have decided to write a short story...enjoy....

Bluestar sat on the soft, mossy rock, and peered down into the pool below her, craning her neck to find a better view. "What is that young cat's name, right there with the gray pelt and green eyes?" She hissed. Leopardstar sat next to her, peacefully grooming her fur. "Relax, Bluestar. I have never seen you so intent on any cat, other then Firestar, of course." She chuckled, then stood near the old ThunderClan leader. "That is Dovepaw, I remember seeing her at the gathering." Leopardstar's eyes clouded over as she recalled one of her last meetings. "It was during the drought. When cats from each clan set off to release the water. When Rippletail joined StarClan." Bluestar turned to face Leopardstar. "He died bravely, you know. Each good cat will go to StarClan, as we did." Leopardstar then gazed into the pool. "But it was not his time." She murmered. "He still had his warrior life ahead of him." Bluestar gave the RiverClan leader a comforting lick. "He died a warrior, and that is the greatest honor."

Both leaders turned back to the pool to watch Dovepaw. "You have heard the prophecy, haven't you?" Bluestar asked Leopardstar. The leader nodded. "After the sharp-eyed jay and roaring lion, peace will come on dove's gentle wing." Bluestar sighed. "She has so much to live up to, at such a young age. She will need great strength for all of the clans to survive." Then, another cat energed from the ferns surrounding the small pool. "She will survive, she is strong, as you were, Bluestar." Whitestorm's husk voice echoed around the small clearing. "I hope so." Leopardstar replied. "She better be as strong as you say she is, othewise the Dark Forest will rule not only StarClan, but the living as well."

Peak-see

SkyClan's Destiny can be accessed here. I'm not sure why they are showing it, since it has not been released yet, I am pretty sure I would have known, but hey, I've been wrong in the past. Heart of a Warrior cannot be accessed although it is released the same day. Who knows why.

Mist in the Distance...

Mistystar is the most recent leader of RiverClan, and before she became leader, she was known as Mistyfoot. She has been in the Warrior Cat novels since the first series. She was alive when Oakheart, Bluestar's mate, was alive, he had brought them to RiverClan where they would be raised. She has been Leopardstar's deputy since Leopardstar became leader, which was also in the first series of Warrior Cats. Once Leopardstar began to lose judgement due to her sickness, Mistystar (Mistyfoot at the time) stepped in and-pretty much-lead the clan. She will probably be my favorite clan leader, which is saying alot because Bluestar and Tallstar were really awesome. Time will tell...

SkyClan Arrives

SkyClan was driven from the forest by the other clans, and now Firestar and Sandstorm have recreated it, and this is the follow up novel telling what happens to the clan.

"Leafstar is struggling to rebuild SkyClan in a territory far from the other warrior Clans, but new and unexpected threats continue to plague her Clanmates. As dissent grows from within, Leafstar must face the one question she dreads: Is SkyClan meant to survive?" -review from SFBookcase

I'm not exactly sure what will happen in this book, but I know it is during the current time period. I don't think it involves any cat in any of the other clans, it is focused just on SkyClan, which I think is a great idea, since everything has been about ThunderClan...
