I have just finished Fading Echoes, the 2nd book in the Omen of the Stars series in not so record time. (yea 3 days is long for me) Anyway, I enjoyed this book much more then the first book in the Omen of the Stars series, because the characters change more, and there is a lot more story.
RiverClan-Leopardstar, RiverClan's leader, lost her last life, so the clan's deputy, Mistyfoot visited StarClan to recieve her 9 lives and new name, Mistystar.
WindClan-Not much happened with WindClan in this book, but evil cats are coming from the dark forest and training Breezepelt, a WindClan warrior.
ShadowClan-Their scents are being found in ThunderClan territory, but only because Tigerheart, a ShadowClan warrior, is crossing the border for a currently unknown reason.
ThunderClan-Longtail, a cat that has been in this series since book 1, Into the Wild, died. Firestar led an attack (wow, that's a first) on ShadowClan to gain the territory that he once gave away to them. This is really odd because Firestar NEVER attacks, and this is a strange thing for him to go for.

...Surprise?
I'm in the middle of reading the 2nd book in the Omen of the Stars series, Fading Echoes. When I picked up this book, the first thing I noticed was that the cover of the 3rd book in the series, Night Whispers, was on the back of this book. This was surprising to me because every time I have checked amazon.com or any other book carrying company or just about anything, there has been a description on the book, but no available picture. I just checked Google, and there is still no available picture, which really surprises me, since I already have the cover for a book that is being released in August.
The next thing that I noticed, is that the original cover of Fading Echoes was this (above). The main cat in the center of this picture was taken out and replaced with a different cat, a white cat which is supposed to be Dovepaw, one of the main cats in this series. Anyway, the cat on this book was removed, but is now on the cover of Night Whispers.

The Amazon
With only 17 days left until the release of the second book in the Omen of the Stars series: Fading Echoes, Warrior Cat fans everywhere give there reviews and reasons on the book.
Amazon Review "...Soon a mysterious visitor will walk in one cat's dreams, whispering promises of greatness, with results that will change the future of ThunderClan in ways that no cat could have for seen."
Now, me being me, and Erin Hunter being Erin Hunter, we both have very different views on what could happen, hers are either extremely obvious or completely unexpected, while my ideas come from what I have read and it builds up to my answer, which really is the only thing I could do as the reader.
The cat that visits another in their dreams is obviously an evil cat from the Dark Forest (I know, creative name right?), which is where evil cats go after they die instead of traveling to StarClan. My possible cats: Tigerstar-I am sooo done with him, need a new bad guy. Hollyleaf-Not evil, but still possible. Hawlkfrost-Again, we need new generation evil cats.
The one that is visited is a ThunderClan cat, and that could either be:
Dovepaw-she is one of the 3 that are more powerful then StarClan, an obvious stalking choice. Ivypaw-Dovepaw's sister, never receiving as much attention as her sister, so she would be a good choice. Poppyfrost & Berrynose's kits-Hawlkfrost and Tigerstar were watching their birth, they wanted to train them to fight with the Dark Forest, but then again, they are just kits.
